As some of you may know, The Elder Scrolls series is known for its extensive lore. The games are filled with books containing history, myths, short stories, etc. from the universe of TES(at least from Morrowind on; not sure about the first two games) which elaborate on events events and their significance within the games, and now these guys are doing an Elder Scrolls lore series on youtube to put everything together for us. I've watched two parts so far and it's pretty well done. I encourage everyone who's into the games to check it out, as well as those who are curious about them. It's a very rich universe and I think you'll find it appealing. The events from the games are all huge parts of the history of the universe and often reference each other. They're up to 9 chapters so far (0-8), beginning with the setting, explaining how Mundus, Nirn, and the continents on Nirn came to be (at least, what is known about them) and who inhabits and came to inhabit which province. In the next chapters they go further into the gods and finally into the different races inhabiting Tamriel separately. The latest chapter is about the Nords. If you're new to the series, don't let the names scare you, they explain it clearly and simple. If there's any TES lore fanatics here, by any chance, of course they can't cover everything, but they cover the most important aspects I'd say. This is the first video: |
