Sweet, I should get to Borderlands (either, actually). My friend has both, but haven't gotten to playing them with him yet.

Also, feel like a bit of a quitter for this, but I've given up on LoZ. It was fun for a bit, but got boring fast, even using a walkthrough lol
I might get back to it sometime, though. Haven't played OoT yet either, but it's not going anywhere.

I continued my second playthrough of Skyrim, though, 2 days short of a year after I last played it. Mr Snuggles, my khajit thief/assassin, is unstoppable!

Was playing RE6 and BL2 with my buddy on PS3, then took a break to play the Project X Zone demo for 3DS. The character art for that game is just gorgeous.

I'm one of those people that loves LoZ and Link, but hasn't played enough games to justify it. XD I'm trying to play LttP, I just don't set enough time aside for it. Ocarina of Time is my favorite, definitely worth playing. Twilight Princess is good. Couldn't get into the Skyward Sword, but want to try again.

I am excited to try playing Skyrim again when I get my pc built this week. I dropped it a long time ago and haven't picked it back up.

Been playing Civ V (40hrs in under a week...), looking forward to trying Bioshock Infinite, want to play Far Cry 3. Far Cry 2 was a huge change from Far Cry, which I was okay with, but it didn't keep my attention. How is it, SoS?

Finished Majoras Mask and Ocarina of Time a couple weeks ago, and I'm now borrowing Twilight Princess from a friend. This'll be my 3rd time through it, and I'm enjoying every bit of it.

I've also gotten back into World of Warcraft, and all my friends got me sucked into Civ V. Never bored here, that's for sure. ^_^

Far Cry 3 did everything right that FC2 did wrong. Overall it is a fantastic game but it does lack in some areas (such are enemies finding you easier than they should and the bow being such a pain to use). Personally I think they should have kept some elements from FC2 but they've made up for it with the stand-alone DLC Blood Dragon. I highly recommend it to fans of shooters. It does stealth a hell of a lot better than other shooters without having it only really work in scripted scenario's or locations, but it isn't the sole option so it's focus isn't over-powering.

Lately I've played almost nothing but Borderlands 2 but I've recently started playing Saints Row 3 again. I also bought Gunpoint and Marvel Heroes, with are pretty good themselves.

I gave FC2 a try but quickly abandoned it... wow was that game boring...
but Blood Dragon? Holy shit that game looks sweet, and that's just going off the concept alone :D

I'm thinking about getting it.

So... I bought Far Cry 3 this weekend.

1. It is gorgeous. So much fun to run around the wilds and soak in the beautiful graphics. I am very pleased to have a rig that can actually play games that look this pretty. (Not to be all "zomg graphics!")

2. I'm having a blast on the normal/medium difficulty setting. But every time I try to be stealthy I screw it up and end up going in guns blazin'.

3. I agree with you SoS, FC3 fixed a lot of issues FC2 had. It is so much more fun and engaging. The fierce wildlife adds a nice level of anxiety. The outposts mechanics are much better. I actually care about the "story" this time. All I remember about FC2 was malaria and shooting things. My only gripe so far is sometimes if you alert a patrol car and take it out there will be four more that pile up within a short period of time. @.@

4. Incentive to craft. You're essentially forced to craft, but it isn't tedious. It promotes exploring to find animal hunting grounds and adds something else to do aside from shoot up outposts. One of my favorite moments so far was following a herd of deer up a hill side through a peaceful area, hunting them with my bow, taking out a small group of enemies by a shack, and just enjoying the view from the giant lush cliff I ended up scaling following the deer.

Anyway, I'm loving Far Cry 3. I payed the full retail price for it on Steam, hesitantly, and don't regret it yet.

Blood Dragon looks absolutely hilarious. It takes every cheesy action cliche and makes it epic. I think my graphics card came with a free download of it, will see.

I'll have to look into Gunpoint, haven't heard of it.

I'm finally getting The Witcher 2 this weekend. It's on sale again and I don't plan on missing out. I don't have a credit card, though, so my friend is gonna gift it to me tomorrow. I'll have to remind him.

Been meaning to play this game for ages! I LOVED the first one!
I'll wait until after the exams, though. No time right now. And I might replay the first game since it's been so long, to refresh my memory... and play the fuck out of that poker mini game again :D
I wish I had handcrafted poker dice set like that in real life.

Far Cry 3 is amazing, but after too long it does start to feel a bit repetitive. Very few of the outposts have properly unique and interesting layouts/designs. Even FC2 had a couple aircraft hangers lying about. God I hate the malaria early game in FC2 but by mid-game is was almost non-existent. Also the fire mechanic isn't as good in FC3, though it does flow better and looks great.

In other news, I WANT MORE NEWS ON THAT DAMN NEW C&C GAME DAMMIT!!! *sulks*

Nothing atm, but I did just download Torchlight for free at GoG.com. It's available for the next 48 hours. :D

So I'll get to that sometime in the future, though I'm saving my bandwith to download the witcher 2 first of all after the exams.

Saving your bandwidth... You have an ISP with a bandwidth limit, eh?

Been playing FC3, tried out Tomb Raider for about an hour (came with GPU purchase) and Blood Dragon (also from GPU). Blood Dragon is hilarious and cheesy.

Yeah, we only get 12gb a month per month... used to be 8gb a few years ago, but it's still bullshit. And it's not like it resets every 30 days. No, whatever you used up 30 days ago will be subtracted from your current total tomorrow... goddamn bullshit.
For some reason, though, for years, it didn't apply to me, but they very recently fixed that bug so now I get thrown back on smallband regularly. Luckily I'm using three accounts. A few of my friends who don't use their uni accounts for internet access let me use it. (I have no choice, living in a uni home) Although one of them isn't working anymore... Coming to think of it... dammit! I should've asked him earlier, but I completely forgot about it. Hadn't seen him in a while either xD

Yeah, blood dragon looks awesome :D

Torchlight 2, Guild Wars 2, X-Com: Enemy Unknown, and as always League of Legends. I'm definitely thinking of picking up Dota2 again for a while, though I'm honestly looking forward to playing Dawngate. The champions in that game seem pretty cool, though no MOBA has hit the greatness that was Demigod (which was sadly overshadowed by League in my opinion and was left severely unbalanced upon release).

Oh and I finally finished Saints Row: The Third.
