This is a pretty neat auditory illusion. If you listen to this correctly, you should feel a presence in the room with you. Here's how it's done: 1) Only use headphones to listen to this video. It doesn't work with speakers. 2) Close your eyes and keep them shut throughout the video. 3) Try to block off any external distractions. Here's the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUDTlvagjJA It's about four and a half minutes long. Tell me what you guys think of this. BTW, I'm not versed well in biology so I don't know whether this is common sense, but nonetheless I think it is pretty awesome. |

I've never wanted to do one of these... I'm an incredibly paranoid person... I see things in the middle of the night that no one else does. I hear noises behind me when there's no one there. I'm constantly creating new ways to scare myself... Nah. I'm good. I don't want to feel a presense in the room with me... Or else I'll end up having the same issues I had after reading all the Ben/Jadusable stories and playing OoT... |

Pfft...Coward. xD To be fair, it's not that creepy, it's mainly amusing for most people. |

I don't have the patience to sit through four and a half minutes of standing still with my eyes closed listening to barber shop sounds (mainly because I'm a beard lover and I will just assume someone's shaving theirs') but I have done one of these before in a workshop thing at my old school, and it was slightly amusing. Not scary at all, to be fair. |

Oh, I've listened to the barber shop one before as well. That was pretty cool. edit: but I'm guessing the one Seto posted works with low bass frequencies that can actually make you feel like someone's there watching you. They can also make you feel overcome with a sense of dread. Edited by Anomaly, Jan 26 2012, 04:01 PM.

I did not like this at all... It gave me wicked goosebumps, and after he started to put a bag over my head, I had to stop listening... I thought it was gonna go all slasher flick on me after that... And I didn't want to know what that sounded like... |
