I always thought this was neat, ever since I saw it in a magazine (at school of all places) awhile back. It's motion control for the Xbox 360, simply put. Something similar is supposed to be coming out for the PS3 as well. "You are the controller." It registers your movements, interactions, etc... Video Demos "How many push-ups can Chuck Norris do?" While neat, I don't know how often I'd want to be in motion trying to accomplish something. The wiimote is annoying enough. But, being technology and a step forward in the world of gaming, its cool. Release: Holiday 2010

That's just it, I think the Natal might be mildly entertaining at best. Maybe for some fun little mini-games; But I don't think it will have a very big impact on any serious games or the more serious gamers. It might sell well just because of the huge fanboy base the 360 has. As for the PlayStation Move, I suppose if they get it working right, it could excel in places where the Wii failed. I personally want to see some 1:1 combat games; they are looking into the possibility. The PSMove has the technology, I'm just not so sure they can perfect it. I guess we'll see both sometime around Christmas and Fall of 2010 respectively |

I don't expect it to really take off. I find the concept intriguing, but, like the wiimote, I doubt they will be all that. My mom, on the other hand, is very excited about the prospect of playing tetris without having to wrap arthritis riddled hands around the PS3 remote. ^^ So, everything has it's upside. If, and when, it releases, we'll probably get it just for her. Me, I'll stick with my remote..... |

Lol, motion controlled Tetris. That would be fun. See, while I like the ease of using a controller or keyboard, I think it would be at least fun to try out full motion control. Hopefully, it will be done right and released without many glitches and bugs. |
