Villain	Yeah, I had some extra money lying around from my tax refund and my laptop hasn't been nearly sufficient to play games at the graphic levels I want to play them at since I bought it practically (though upgrading from Vista to 7 a month or so back did help considerably). Now that that is out of the way, let me tell you of my new system. Dell Studio XPS 8100 CPU: Intel Core i7-860 processor @ 2.80 GHz w/ 8MB Cache (with turbo engaged it runs at 3.46 Ghz per core for a total of 13.86 GHz.) RAM: 8GB Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM @ 1333 Mhz w/ 4 DIMMs Video: nVidia GeForce GTX260 w/ 1792MB GDDR3 RAM HDD: 750 GB SATA HDD @ 7200 RPM Optical: 16x DVD+/-RW Drive Sound: THX TruStudio PC (I believe this is integrated, something I will fix in time... not that an i7 can't handle it) OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Edition Monitor: 21.5" Dell ST2210 Full HD Widescreen Monitor (can anyone say 1920x1080 resolutions? Does anyone know what a more common name for that resolution is?) The only part that is going to suck is that I won't get it until the 19th, 20th, or 21st of Feb. The thing that is going to annoy the crap out of me though is transferring everything from my laptop to my new desktop. There will be much reinstallation of games... I might just take that week off. Admittedly, if it's not a program or game it's on an external, so that saves a lot of time right there. For comparison my laptop is as follows: HP Pavilion dv6-1050us CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo P7450 @ 2.13 Ghz (for a total of 4.26 Ghz) RAM: 4GB DDR2 SDRAM @ ???? Mhz w/ 2 DIMMs Video: nVidia GeForce 9200M GS w/ 512MB DDR3 RAM HDD: 400 GB SATA HDD @ 5400 RPM Optical: 8x LightScribe DVD+/-RW Drive Sound: Integrated Sound OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Edition Monitor: 16" Laptop Widescreen Display
	My Blog: Thoughts of Randomness So, like usual, I try to change this every so often. I don't know if anyone notices, but I do it anyways. I hate studying. Have I mentioned this? Anyways, I do. It bites. In other news, It all began with Brownies. And then sped up a little bit. Not quite to phone numbers yet though, But that might change. I hope it does. Fun Quote! Dahleks be warned, you have declared war on Cybermen. This is not war. This is pest control! We have 5 million Cybermen. How many are you? We are 4. You would destroy the Cybermen with 4 Dahleks? We will destroy the Cybermen with 1 Dahlek. You are superior in only one respect. What is that? You are better at dieing.

Villain	What kind of sucks about the computer I ordered, is I'll have to go out and immediately buy a more powerful power supply. The 8100 series only ships with a 350 Watt one, while the video card alone requires at least 500 watts. Something I discovered after doing a bit more research.

Villain	The only thing worse than setting up a power supply that I've found is hooking up the power and reset buttons.... took me over an hour to plug those in. That just seems plain stupid on Dell's part, why would you ship a comp with insufficient power?

Villain	So in complete awesomely awesome news, my computer shipped yesterday through FedEx. I might have it by Thursday! I must applaud Dell though, the email said estimated delivery date of the 1st of march. Their site says Thursday. Seeing as how I don't think there is such a thing as a two week delivery date with FedEx, I'm assuming they meant Thursday. But yeah, this just made my week!
