Dragon Quest was quite a let down. Very boring if you ask me.

I used to play Dragon Warrior III, don't think I ever beat it.

I'm currently displeased with the new Prince of Persia game. It's just... boring and repetitive and nothing like the other PoP games--at all.

I'm cold and falling right now :D

Dead Rising, the save system and the time limits annoyed me. Hopefully the 2nd one fixes those issues.

Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, the game was butchered by Atari, BUTCHERED. The only redeemable feature is that you can ride your rides. This is balanced out by the crappy coaster building interface.

Command and Conquer 3 (Xbox 360), the controls sucked. I had played a very good PC to console port RTS beforehand (Universe at War) so I figured there mighta been hope for the game but the controls sucked.

That one guy from way back when

You complain about controls on a console port of a PC game? I thought that was one of those things that was to be expected. 100+ keys on a keyboard + mouse does not = 360 controller.

Recent game that let me down, I'd have to say would be Red Alert 3. It struck me more as a pitiful attempt to continue the series. And the co-op single player campaign thing just annoyed me.

Assassin's Creed. I expected so much out of it, and when I went to play it, the only funny things are parkouring around a city and riding a horse. It's too GTAish, I expected it to be way more developped in terms of.. everything.

EDIT: Asides from graphics. Those were brilliant, I admit.

Ye'see, I don't go and buy those games that are supposedly "Instant Classics", and therefore, I am not saddened on the most. I would like to add that the games metioned thus far which I have played (only assassin's creed and dragon quest, but what ev), are much better than they are being treated.

That all being said, I have a game that let me down. Tremendously so, actually.

That with the russian guy, I played it at my friend's house, and now I have nightmares still (he got it the day it came out, and I played it that weekend).

How they could have completely butchered this beautiful series is beyond me. However, I believe it stems from the company wanting to make it "more realistic."

GTA shouldn't be realistic!

It should be totally insane and unbelievible, like the characters and events that transpire!

Shortly put, this game was far too "serious" so I must ask:

I played it. I beat it. I loved it. It surprised me that the boss in the opening scene isn't the final boss...

Gears of War seemed promising. One run through and I've never touched it again.

I second Assassin's Creed.

Star Fox Adventure. Fuk dat shit. Furries and boring bullshit galore. Returned that shit. Oh shit, that reminds me. I returned Rainbow 6 Las Vegas the same day. Shittacular.
