My mother recently bought a new computer while her old one was out being fixed... She didn't wipe it, so the guy couldn't fix it... Long story short, I have the comp now, and I will be back on regularly as soon as I have it fixed... The only problem is, I need an system restore disc... I don't have one, and I can't find one that works with my computer... Any suggestions?

The guy said that I needed an XP restore disc with either Zeta or Beta drivers in it (i forget which, and don't really know the difference)

A system restore disc? You have to make those yourself if they are what I think they are. If it's that bad though just find someone with a XP install disc and reinstall the OS. You'll lose most everything on the drive you install on (the drive will be formatted--something of a safety feature as far as OS installs go) but the computer will work.

Actually, an XP install disc might work as a system restore disc, but I've never played around much with them... Actually, I don't think I've ever had a XP or Vista install disc.

My Blog: Thoughts of Randomness

So, like usual, I try to change this every so often.
I don't know if anyone notices, but I do it anyways.
I hate studying.
Have I mentioned this?
Anyways, I do.
It bites.
In other news,
It all began with Brownies.
And then sped up a little bit.
Not quite to phone numbers yet though,
But that might change.
I hope it does.

Fun Quote!
Dahleks be warned, you have declared war on Cybermen.
This is not war. This is pest control!
We have 5 million Cybermen. How many are you?
We are 4.
You would destroy the Cybermen with 4 Dahleks?
We will destroy the Cybermen with 1 Dahlek. You are superior in only one respect.
What is that?
You are better at dieing.
