Heroes don't need super powers! I was thinking what an awesome game would be like. And so I wondered, what would be your dream game? A video game you'd enjoy playing that has all the features you want. What would it be? I'll be vague for now, but I'd really love an RPG for the Wii that fully utilizes the Wiimote, has splendid graphics, and a storyline as rich and in depth as some of the Final Fantasy games. (Did I just use the word 'splendid'?) |

A fire emblem, with the fighting mode set to something like Pokémon (being able to learn attacks and chose them while playing), kickass graphics (like Oblivion), and a plot like A Song Of Ice And Fire, possibly with the characters from the story. Also, it should allow you to follow various storylines of different characters, allow you to choose what character you want to be for the story, and it should last long. The longer, the cooler it'd be. In fact, if they did a game for A Song Of Ice And Fire, I think that'd be my dream game. If it was Fire Emblem style, it'd be even better. |

My dream game is impossible to make. It's be an RPG where you could do anything and be anyone you wanted. No limits, you could be an outlaw that raids kingdoms and start your own black market, or you could be a king and lead armies to war. Or be a soldier in an army and you could desert and be killed upon return to the kingdom. So yeah.... It'll be impossible. |

Heroes don't need super powers! Bronnen reminded me of a thought I had the other day. I'd love a Modern RPG. With elements like Assassin's creed + GTA + Magic Combat without having to pick up whores or steal cars as the storyline. Optional perhaps for the people who enjoy virtual whore-picking-up. Stealing cars is actually pretty fun though. But! I want a free roam RPG that has, like Bronnen said, endless options. And I still want an amazing storyline. I notice movie based games are pretty lame. For the most part. So if they make the Song of Ice and Fire movie and then a game, I hope they do it right. |

To be honest, yeah. They all suck. And the game would suck aswell, but I'd play it over and over again just because it's ASOIAF. My dream game would just be that FE-type of game with a Pokémonish type of battling, and using ASOIAF's theme as their own theme, even if with different characters and plot. |

Anyone ever seen the .hack series? I totally want a VR game like that, or at least one like in .hack//sign. Because it's not just number crunching turn based battles, personal skill and ability are put in and makes for a more intense, involved, and realistic game. But other than that, I'd say make a Brawl-ish version of pokemon: still level up increase stats and learn moves, but now there's that element of adding the user's skill (that I like so much) so that players fight each other by maneuvering pokemon of differing strengths, speed, and weaknesses in real-time. I rather like how they managed to do it for the Pokemon trainer in the actual Brawl game. They just need to do the same for the rest of 'em. Think of it, scyther could be similar to the swordfighting characters in style, fighting types like machamp would be similar to guys like DK or Gannon, and so on and so forth. Take the emphasis off type match-ups and put more on the abilities. I guess what I really want is - dare I say it- a pokemon battle like they have in the cartoon. A unique combination of moves and techniues that can be characteristic of the pokemon or the trainer's style of training/fighting. |

Heroes don't need super powers! @Maelstrom- Seeing as they've already destroyed the classic Pokemon style, I don't see why not. I played that retarded Pokemon Ranger game in stores wondering what the hell I was supposed to do. Supposing it could be done correctly, and well, it would be an awesome game. You'd have a helluva lotta "characters" to play as though. I could imagine it being divided into expansions packs, the original game containing the original map and Pokemon and the expansions the newer Pokemon, maps, and items. I don't see how this would work on a console though. Possible with our technology, I'd hope. People download games onto their PS3, Wii, and PSP (dunno about DS, probably the Xbox-360 as well). If everything could be fit into one disc, amazing. I'd play it. Real time Pokemon action! |

Actually, I don't see how it could work on anything but a console. The ds system isn't terribly comfortable for real time action games, as I learned from custom robos (well, maybe it's fine for you young'ns with smaller hands). Plus, it would be easier to use a sort of pallete system for assigning moves to button commands the way they did for PSO ep I & II (Skills/spells for a, b, x, and y, with other skills easily accessible by holding down R and then pressing those same buttons). I think by necessity, some pokemon would be clones of each other, the way Dr. Mario and Mario were, Fox and falco, Ganondorf and Capt. Falcon. But on that same token, they would have different stats. Like say, scizor compared to scyther. But yeah, I think it'd have to be done in parts. |

Wow, mine's not going to sound quite as good as any of yours. -.- Mine would be my manga/anime turned into a game. I actually some friends who are striving to be game programmers and graphic designers so I'd definitely search them out and hire them to do the game. Considering that me getting my manga/anime out will be quite a few years from now, I have really no idea what kind of gaming system that would be out at that time. Hopefully by the time it is, there will be a game system able to put you, yourself, into the game and allow you to travel through the different areas of the world with the characters. It would teach you how to make your own herbs, teach sword and magic fighting and allow you to fly on the dragons with the others. *sigh* that would be my dream game. ^^ |

You know, you're gonna die when you reach 69 posts. Your manga will be missing 9348374937 chapters and your friends will all quit on you. I hope you're happy. I hate you. |
