Okay, so I've been thinking up this RP for a while now, was figuring I'd post it up after I got into tech school and had computer access again, but then I thought I better get this out of my head before it gets too warped. So here it is, the next potentially great RP from Kag. Oh yeah, guess what? I'm not the main character this time.

Zar is a world wracked by conflict, where Lords send their armies against their opponets at will, and lands can change hands several times a day sometimes. It may seem simple on the surface, but this world was once and still is connected to this one. Earth serves a vital function for the Lords of Zar, it is a nursery. A place to raise the young of their dynasties away from the conflict, and hone their skills in secret. On Earth, the law of the Old Ones still reigns supreme and though no Old Ones have been seen in millenia, there is no Lord who would dare to test their law. the Old Ones are the people who came to Zar eons ago, built the gate, and left. It is still not clear why they made the gate, but shortly thereafter the Lords appeared.

Back then the Lords were not aware of the true purpose of the Old One's construction and generally ignored it. Back then they occassionally managed to activate the gate, almost alway by accident. Back then, the Lords of Zar were known by the name Earthlings gave them: Vampires. Unlike Zar, Earth societies were more complex and harder to manipulate without retribution of another. However the Lords eventually began to decipher the texts of the Old Ones, and to build thier own societies on Zar; much resembling those they came accross on Earth. For a time, the Old One's gate was public knowledge, and there was trade between the Lords of Zar and Earth, but then the numerous Lords of Zar began to fight. The reason is no longer known, but within a year the entirity of Zar was embroiled in war.

The world of Zar is still embroiled in this war to this day though almost everything has changed; Old Dynasties have fallen and new ones risen, boundaries have fluctuated wildly, and technology has advanced. The only area not embroiled in war is the area around the Old One's Ruins, where the gate resides. To attack a Lord here would bring the army of every other Lord down on the attacker regardless of political alliances. It is the one thng all Lords of Zar agree on: the Gate is a neutral zone.

This is not your usual vampire tale, as I'm sure you have realised. Zar is far different from the rest. It is a futuristic society on a planet about the size of Earth, where humans and vampires co-exist rather well and technological advancement has been driven forwards by constant warfare. Or perhaps it is a war-torn society so embroiled in conflict it can't remember that it's humans populace are slaves to the Lords they believe honorable.

In this society, the Lords of Zar are the final say on all things within their Dynasty, they rule practically as gods. Below the Lord is their family, and then their immediate servants. With the advance of technology, blood farming of the Lower Classes and Slaves is common practice, in order to feed the Lords and their family. Servants and the Middle class are of course exempt from this practice because Lords believe they must be at their best performance. The Servant Class includes personal guards, government workers, and personal teachers; as well as old friends of the family and anyone remotely related to the lord--human or not.

Next past them is the "Middle Class", or the warriors of the Dynasty. These people make up the bulk of any Lord's military. Then you have the "Lower Class", or the working people, the laborers that keep it all running; forever a slave to the cost of goods set in place by the Lord. Then lastly is the Lords of Fallen Dynasties (hired as mercenaries or working alone as rogues), the Mutants (where do you think the Lords came from?), and the Captured Enemy Peoples. Unlike what you may expect, the people within a Dynasty hold their Lord with the utmost respect, honoring him daily in almost every action they undertake, thanking him for his benevolence and his protection. They are always proud to serve such a wonderful person.

There are only a couple things the Lords are concerned about, other than maybe each other. These things are the Old Ones, should they ever return; New mutations, they realise they themselves are flukes and if they can come to be there is a chance something else will; and the Immature, as all young vampires begin their lives human and don't "mature" (or gain the abiliities of a vampire) until the end of puberty/beginning of adulthood (for vampires, 17 or 18).... being bitten by an immature vampire can have interesting consequences.

Now that you know about the World of Zar, let me tell you this is not a story of how peace is brought to Zar, nor a story of liberation or the end of oppression, nor is it about how the demise of the Lords. It is about a Teenage Male Earthling who fell in love with an Immature Vampire Lady of the Regalon Dunasty and was accidentally bitten, and how he has finally found the gate to Zar and is beginning his quest to find his Love. It is about how he eventually caught up with her and who assisted him, and why they assisted him. It is one of the tales of the Dynasties of Zar, a story of Vampires, Love, and Deceit.

So, what'cha think? And before you say anything, the love interest will be non-playable and no, I won't be playing the Earthling. Everyone else in the RP will be from Zar, either human or a vampire. I will be playing one of the Servants of Lord Lorean, the hard-earned friend of the Earthling who has offered his assistance to enjoy the mess the newcomer could create in the powerhouse of the Regalon Dynasty.

My Blog: Thoughts of Randomness

So, like usual, I try to change this every so often.
I don't know if anyone notices, but I do it anyways.
I hate studying.
Have I mentioned this?
Anyways, I do.
It bites.
In other news,
It all began with Brownies.
And then sped up a little bit.
Not quite to phone numbers yet though,
But that might change.
I hope it does.

Fun Quote!
Dahleks be warned, you have declared war on Cybermen.
This is not war. This is pest control!
We have 5 million Cybermen. How many are you?
We are 4.
You would destroy the Cybermen with 4 Dahleks?
We will destroy the Cybermen with 1 Dahlek. You are superior in only one respect.
What is that?
You are better at dieing.
