For hundreds of years, the realms of Tyr and Siria lived in peace. They held a bonding ceremony between Tyr’s Princess Ninfa and Siria’s King Keinan. They ruled in Siria while Ninfa’s sister, Sharra, ruled in Tyr. Three hundred years after this ceremony, the couple had a daughter. Her name was Twilight, a half Sidhe, half dragon hybrid. The first to exist. She was endowed with the magic of both her parents, and excelled at everything. In the year 794 PW, when Twilight was fourteen years old, Ninfa was murdered. Relations between Tyr and Siria disolved and the realms fell into chaos. The bridge between the two was Aris: Human land. Aris took trade from both Tyr and Siria and profitted. Even though the dragons randomly fed on human livestock, Aris needed the cloth and armor that Siria offered and maintained relations with them. Tyr and Siria are on the brink of war, blaming each other for the death of Ninfa. Though not common knowledge, Sharra’s son, Griffon, in an attempt to steal the Sidhe throne, had her killed. By Sidhe law, no man could hold the Crystal Throne, but he was going to kill all female heirs so that the Sidhe had no choice but to accept him as king. Twilight went into hiding, living amongst humans for six years. On the day of her twentieth birthday, she was discovered by a mage employed by Griffon. She killed the mage, and is now gathering a group of warriors to face Griffon. Objective: Travel through the realms to defeat Griffon. Characters can join at anytime, joining the group, or being someone on Griffon’s side, sabotaging the group. Dragons-- There are nine regular classes of dragon. Red, Blue, Green, Black, Silver, and Gold. They range from weakest to strongest. Red-Gold. Dragons can be born into any stage and from there progress through the stages. Each stage lasts 50 years. You then have the final three classes. Obsidian, Platinum, and Blood. You are either born like that, or you're not. Odsidian is more commonly known as the Shadow dragon. They are not widely seen, as they generally stay in the Demoina tre Emira unless summoned by their king or queen. Platinum is generally considered the strongest magically. Their scales are impenetrable to anything except another platinum dragon and some magic. They are usually the ruling class of Siria. Blood is considered the most sinister. They gain their power from the blood of others, as their name implies. Usually prefer children or maidens as the blood of the pure offers more power. All dragons have the ability to shift to human form. Sidhe-- The ruling class in Tyr. By rule tall and willowy, unless of mixed blood. Mostly mages, though they have a deadly force of sword arms, both men and women. The Unseelie Sidhe accept everyone while the Seelie take only those of pure blood and without deformities. As a result, most favor the Seelie court because they are all beautiful. Each court has a queen, and no man has ever sat on either throne. {sub classes of the Fey} Elves--wood workers, scholars. Live in Selene, in Tyr. They don't venture from their city often, but always welcome travelers. Live near the Demoina tre Emira. Dwarves-- miners, warriors. They live in the underground city Dutra. Withing three days walk of the mountains for mining purposes. Don't hold a high opinions of others, and don't allow other races into their city, unless it's a very special occasion, like a Sidhe queen. The final major city in Tyr is Forril, which is near the Aryth Ocean and a major trading port. It contains every class of Fey as well as a few humans. Human--pretty much regular humans. Their country is the most populated seeing as they produce more that Fey or Dragons. They have pretty good relations with the other two species, though there is no small amount of fear involved. Dragon’s have been known to eat humans, and the Fey have been known to hunt humans for sport. You can choose out of any of these races, or create a hybrid. The only hybrid you can’t use is Sidhe/Dragon. Twilight is the only one. But any other fey is fine. I will not be using Twilight as my main character. She is too close to a God Mod for my comfort. But she will be controlled by me. If there is a battle sequence, any can use her, but otherwise, she’s an NPC. So, yeah. Oh. Demoina tre Emira is fey for Mountains of Sorrow. They separate Tyr and Siria. Forgot to mention that. ^.^ Also, any quesions about the world or the races, PM me and I'll clear it up. Name: Kiomi Race: Black Dragon Age: 230 Abilties: Skilled in magic, mainly elemental. Weapons: Aside from massive teeth and impressive talon/claws she uses two short and thin blades that are quick and light. One is black tinted, the other is polished white. Appearance: [Human] Her eyes are gray hue with grayish-violet flecks within. She has long black hair that is tied up with a silver hair clasp; although she leaves quite a bit of hair down around her face in long locks. At times she will let her hair down, but she finds comfort in having it up during travel and in battle. She's thin and quick on her feet, standing around 5'8. Kiomi's skin is tanned and on her right shoulder blade is a black inked personal crest. She wears an off white tank-top (broad straps) with a low back and black trim. Right up past her elbows come a pair of black dress gloves, although they technically don't have 'fingers' for the hand to fit into. The gloves fit around the wrist and a strand of cloth goes over the back of her hand, between her fingers, and over her palm, connecting to the glove again. Upon her legs she wears black dyed leather pants and simple dark brown leather boots. Her swords rest on each side of her. Personality: Very secretive and kept to herself. She doesn't say much about who she is or where she is from. She is usually quite calm and quiet, offering assistance to anyone that needs it out of those she is traveling with. As a fighter she understands when mercy should be given, and when slaughter should be permitted. Trained in both blade and magic for a couple hundred years she has learned quite a bit about life. Other: Kiomi usually appears as a human. She rarely reveals her dragon form to anyone, and most of the people she is around are not aware that she is a dragon. Edited by Nubi, Aug 3 2008, 07:31 PM.

Okay, I was fine with you til now. I don't care what you think of my topic. Don't spam it. You got something to say? Take it to the Cantina. I'm an easy going person, but you don't want to piss me off. Nubi, thanks for joining! Name: Aurora Race: Sidhe Age: 322 (looks about 24) Abilties: Magically proficient, great with most weapons. In magic works well with Fire and earth elements. Weapons: Twin scimitars. They are both obsidian black. They are carved from the talons of a Platinum Dragon, making them slightly mystic and almost impossible to scratch or break. Appearance: Silvery blonde hair that falls sleekly to midback. At rest, it's down, but otherwise it stays in a braid. Tri clolored eyes. The inner color, around the pupil in a pale green, followed by a dark green, and then a thin ring of gold on the outer edges. stands at six foot, and if very slender with lean muscles from fighting. Wears a silk shirt of dark gold and tan breeches that fit snugly. Leather knee high riding boots are on her feet. Over it all is a dark green cloak with a silver clasp. She has sunkissed skin and a very delicate face. Personality: Very arrogant. Being a Sidhe noble, she is very sure of herself. She was very close to both Ninfa and Griffon when they were younger, and respected them both. When Ninfa died, she became convinced that it was her job to protect Twilight. She's been searching for her ever since. She takes everything seriously and only jokes occasionally. She has a quick temper which is why she's suited to Fire element. Other: She has great disdain for humans. She is sixth in line to the Crystal throne, being Twilight's distant cousin. This puts her in danger from Griffon as well. I changed my mind. Anyone can interact as Twilight. Just keep to her personality. I'll post her sheet later. I'll use Griffon as an NPC when he comes into the picture. I'd let someone be Griffon, but he's like my baby. haha. |

For their first RP, this isn't that bad. Having been a moderator of a Beginner's RP board, I've seen some really bad attempts before. Admittedly, there are things she could improve on, but like I said, for a first attempt it's not that bad. |

is this going to be a me and Nubi thing? Will no one else join? Is my own critique of it correct? Name: Twilight Starra Age: 20 Race: Dragon/Sidhe Hybrid Appearance: Curly black hair that falls just below her shoulders. 5'7", large tilted green eyes, bronze skin. Slenderly muscled from swordwork and archery. Wears a loose black linen shirt and dark tan breeches with knee high riding boots that are well worn. A gdark grey cloak covers it. Right under her jaw on the right side is a starburst that is slightly darker than her skin. It's the mark of the heir to the throne of Tyr. She gained it when her mother died. Personality: Friendly. She always has an encouraging word or action. When someone needs help, she's the first to offer. Very strong willed. When she sees something that's not right, she voices it. Also stubborn and when she gets angry, nothing can stop her. Abilities: weilds fey magic, all elements, as well as having a very rare hand of power. Sometimes she can kill with a touch. But it comes sporadically. She can also take the shape of a Platinum dragon. Like I said, God Mod character. ^^ Weapons: a long slim blade instilled with the unique magic of the Dwarves. Also, a long curved dagger. Has throwing knives hidden all over her body, and an elfin short bow with griffon arrows so they fly true every time. Other: Was engaged to a Dragon Lord in Siria. Name: Rene Race: Human (To be different ;) ) Age: 24 Abilities: None Weapons: None Appearance: Brown hair that is tied back just below the neck and reaches slightly below that. His eyes are almost gray, but seem to be slightly green or brown, not falling really in any of the three colours. He wares long robes that cover his hands and feet. He weras a fedora with a slightly elongated brim that flops a little in the back. He carries a deep blue leather satchel at his side. Personality: Very open, not keeping to many secrets from anyone. He is a people person and always tries to make people comfortable. He enjoys hearing about other people and what they have to overcome. Other: As a child, Rene suffered severe burns to his arms and legs. His movement is slow and often clumsy, but his healing ability is second to none. He dosen't use magic, but special combinations of herbs and relaxation techniques. |
