I can barely remember writing this...I think it was lyrics to a friend's song. The song sounds a bit like Stonesour's 'Made of Scars'. I don't actually like the rest of it, but here's the best part (which isn't that good). _________________ When did you remember me So close as we used to be As imperfect as we used to be You have me cracking up When I return back to your home Let me be the first to say "look at our children, look at how they've grown" Play tactics all you want Bargin for our past, because I have run away So look back all you want |

Lost in the dark scary part of my mind

Your fingertips across my skin The palm trees swaying in the wind Images You sang me Spanish lullabies The sweetest sadness in your eyes Clever trick Well, I never want to see you unhappy I thought you'd want the same for me Goodbye, my almost lover Goodbye, my hopeless dream I'm trying not to think about you Can't you just let me be? So long, my luckless romance My back is turned on you Should've known you'd bring me heartache Almost lovers always do We walked along a crowded street You took my hand and danced with me Images And when you left, you kissed my lips You told me you would never, ever forget These images Well, I'd never want to see you unhappy I thought you'd want the same for me Goodbye, my almost lover Goodbye, my hopeless dream I'm trying not to think about you Can't you just let me be? So long, my luckless romance My back is turned on you Should've known you'd bring me heartache Almost lovers always do I cannot go to the ocean I cannot drive the streets at night I cannot wake up in the morning Without you on my mind So you're gone and I'm haunted And I bet you are just fine Did I make it that easy To walk right in and out of my life? Goodbye, my almost lover Goodbye, my hopeless dream I'm trying not to think about you Can't you just let me be? So long, my luckless romance My back is turned on you Should've known you'd bring me heartache Almost lovers always do. I really like this one. Even though it's sad. So are the other two. I like sad poems for some reason. He made her jealous on purpose he tried. When the girl asked, "Do you love me?" on purpose he lied. He played with jealousy like it was a game. Little did he know Things would never be the same. His plan was working but he had no clue. How wrong things would go, the damage he would do. One night she broke down, feeling very alone. Just her and the blade, no one else home. She dialed his number, he answered, "Hello" She told him she loved him and hung up the phone. He raced to her house just a minute too late. Found her lying in blood, her heart had no rate. Beside her was a note, in it her confession. Her love for this boy, her only obsession. As he read the note, he knelt down and cried. Grabbed her knife, that night they both died. she was found in his arms, both of them dead. Under her note his handwriting said: "I loved her so, she never knew. All this time I loved her too." I want to run away inside my blood red scream i want to break down doors holding back my dream living like this, checking the sky for rain, a constant reminder of this burden and pain im holding on to a shooting star it points cutting my skin this time its gone to far nothing left to wish on my bloody star fell left me drowning in hopes inside my wishing well not looking for a hero to owe such a debt i could not ask for saving this loss is not a regret i want to run away but theres nothing out there i want to shatter windows that look out on nowhere this is not life if im already dead my bleeding heart stopped beating and tears i no longer shed Like I said: Very sad poems. |

How many H's are in phunk?

These are lyrics to a song my friend, Chris Martin wrote. Since the only difference between music and poems is well, the whole y'know, musical part.. And since i really like this song, I'm posting it. Also, here's the link to his page so you can listen to what it sounds like in musical form. http://www.myspace.com/twilighthoursfl So here it stands It's constantly a battle between being right or wrong, It's not enough the honesty we share, Believing love will last forever, a feeling oh so strong but really now I truly couldn't care, oh no Life's too short to be drawn to someone who could just end up breaking your heart so the way I live and the way I love is by keeping us apart I'd like to be alone, there's no stopping me, If you really love me girl, let me leave right now, I want to wait for you, but I'm not sure I can Because my patience wears so thin, from what I feel within. So here it stands. My eyelids hurt already because it's hard to see why someone just like you would end up with someone just like me. You're ignorance is blooming out from every pore, it makes it easy to forget what I'm in this relationship for. Life's too short to be drawn to someone who will just end up breaking your heart, so the way I live and the way I love is by keeping us apart I'd like to be alone, there's no stopping me, If you really love me girl, you'd let me leave right now, I want to wait for you, but I'm not sure I can Because my patience wears so thin, from what I feel within. So here it stands. Edited by Ashura, Aug 16 2008, 06:35 AM.

Well, the page breaks sometimes. I dunno why, I'd try again. I know the download link works because I have the entire song on my computer. |

LOL. Something one of my friends wrote on myspace. Whats the matter with parents today? Mom and dad How'd you get so rad? When exactly did you get so hip? Wearing teenage clothes You're always coming to my shows And telling me that I should mellow out It's absurd They're singing every word You're not supposed to like my band Things I like you don't understand So please put down that rum and Coke That's not behaviour for old folk Can we just hang on holidays Dad and mom What planet are you from? And what convinced you to pack up and leave Doing drugs And asking me for hugs What's the matter with parents today? Not again When will it end? Dad's dressing like Motley Crue And why is moms hair dyed bright blue? And stayin' out till 2 or 3 Then having sex anally I thought the apple fell far from the tree Mom and dad, I think you ought To quit smoking so much pot And hanging with my friends Laying round, on the couch With my Misfits records out Softly banging your head Maybe its just a passing phase What's the matter with my parents these days? That's great.... Another sad poem. A Beautiful Death: Offer me a beautiful death Beneath a gossamar sky Trace the stars with my fingertips Simple comforts before I die Promise me a beautiful end A walk under pale moonlight Bathe in the pool of silver sheen Wash away my sin and vice Sing to me a beautiful song A requeim meant for Heaven Notes to float on a summer wind To echo across desert and ocean Tell me a tale of a beautiful love One that endures the test of time A love the world lies down for A love that would've been mine Perhaps I'll make a list this night Of all the things I'll miss past tonight A tiny list of subtle things Like feathers and butterfly wings Fire and Flame Sighes and Wishes The taste of virgin snow Lightning and Rain Silence and Kisses The splash of a sunset glow Dreams and Memories Shivers and Fantasies Dew drops glistening like a thousand gems Morning mist And Evening shadows The trees of Autum and cliche poems A tiny list Of things I'll miss Hold it forever by your heart Whisper in my ear tonight That this is not in vain My passing will live on through others So they won't feel my pain Offer me a beautiful death Beneath a gossamar sky Trace the stars with my fingertips Hold my hand just one last time |
