So your religion and details please. Personaly i don't give a shit, but i might as well show some interest. So i think i'm an athiest. I don't beleive in god, though my grandfathers a pastor. And i'm not a pagan, such as mum. So basicly i'm screwwed. |

I have no belief currently. I was rose with an open mind, and though I may accept much I don't accept religion. A part of my brain says its all made up and we cant really be sure. How would we have obtained a bible from angels and jesus and god? Who did it? Why would god pass it down to us? Would he really want us to know he was there. |

:huh: I'm a Christian, I believe in God, believe in the Bible, erm... the classics. God sent Jesus, Jesus died for our sins on the cross. Jesus is God in the flesh. As for you being an athiest. Well, you seriously do not believe that there is some sort of higher power, a creator, such as... oh let's say, God? EDIT: Arch, the angels did not give us a Bible. Many men and women witnessed Christ and his glory, they wrote letters and what they witnessed. The Bible is based on people's writings from way back when, the time in which Christ came. |

Same here, Nubi. Apostle's Creed! Anyway, I didn't just take a blind leap of faith into believing what I do. In fact, I've always felt pressured into it because all my family on both sides are your model Christians. You can rest assured, I did not just decide to follow along. I did some pretty deep research. And, I discovered quite a bit. The Bible has predicted the issues with Israel and it's neighbors, how any nation "Under God" will prosper greatly, and, well, there's really just too much to list. Of course, the Bible is quite a scary piece of work. Think I'm kidding? Anything in Revelations scares the crap out of me, even though I will be excluded in most of it. My personal favorite, however, is the part where it talks about (not a direct quote) "Israel will become fruitful soon before the end time" 50 years ago, Israel was just desert, and had to import all it's food. Now, they have loads of food and agriculture, and are exporting food. Creepy? Through this, I believe the "End Time" will happen within my lifetime. Something else that freaks me out is the Valley of Meggido. The Bible here predicts that the "Last Battle" will be thhere. Should you ever take the time to read Revelations, (and I recommend you do, Christian or not, just so when this all really happens, you can kiss my- HEY! I found a penny!! No, not really, but it is pretty interesting, and even if I weren't Christian, I would read it, it's a good read...Even if you don't believe it) you will find this "End Time" isn't of the happily-ever-after sort. |

Alright I believe in Christanity quite a bit and am believing a little bit everyday, but how did we aquire these letters? Who would write them over and over again to perserve them? I'm sure that the notes would proably be badly damaged and maybe undechiperable, but then again I havent read the bible. Anyways I as well believe that the end of time will happen in our lifetime. A lot of information leads up to this, especially current events. I also believe World War 3 is forming. I don't know why... it's just something in my gut. |

i had christianity shoved down my throat from birth. And of course i slowly rejected it. And i can't beleive in something i can't see prove whatever. I do think someone did something to bring life about. But my mind works to oddly for me to beleive in anything |

They describe (adding onto Linty's scary stuff) how huge dragonflies making this incridibly loud noise will raise up from the ground. That their eyes are big, round and firey with light and extreme maneuvering. Can you say Helicopter? This is not certain. But I'd suspect a Helicopter. Why? Well imagine never seeing a Helicopter in your life, it's back before technology. What would you relate a helicopter too? It seems alive, moving and flying. Dragonfly? Don't we have Helicopters? They're featured in the end times?! Eh? By the way, this is a dream Daniel had, visions. He had many visions. And now I'm not sure if it was a dragonfly or some other related bug. But I can't find it. I'll get it soon. Dinner time. |

well that's clearly documented, and easily proveable. but da Vinci had visions to, and he was gay as the day is long. And i can see how the shape of a helicopter resembles a dragon fly, excluding the wings. But hey god and/or any other figure could have been inteligent people from the futere. < that was just a random peice of junk my mind gurgetates. But seriously the bible had to have change from hand to hand. Maybe someone didn't see god, and didn't like a few things. So why not change history. Watch dogma, yes it's clearly a comedy and unrealistic. but if you think about some of the things they say it's not that far fetched. |

They saw him walk across the water, they witnessed him die on the cross, and they witnessed the extreme miracles. He cured the lepers, healed the eyes of the blind, and ended such ailments for many. No one doubted this, they didn't oppose it either. As for the documents. King James commisioned many people around the world, all apartfrom each other to translate the original text of the Bible and when they all came together they all had the same exact thing. Apparently angels did come down to aid them in the translation (though probably it was an unseen force). How does so many people of different nations translate the same thing like that? da Vinci ain't Jesus. ~.^ Notice the movie and book on the da Vinci Code is 'fiction'. Daniel had never seen a helicopter, nor had anyone else of that time. He dreampt about it and used something he knew to describe that object. It may not be a helicopter though. Could be a mutant race of dragonflies! Documents not damaged? Look at the constitution, it's perfectly fine! Over the years we've managed to reprint the same exact text and keep the original in tact. George Washington is clearly proven? Sure, so you think. lol, Okay, I believe he is real and stuff, of course. But I never saw him. Only read about what people have written. You know those journal entries he made, the entries of others that talk about him? That's like what the people who contributed to the Bible did. They didn't think they were contributing to a Bible, nor did the historic heroes believe they were contributing to a History Book almost every American would read. In comparison to the History Books the Bible is clearly proven. Did you know George Washington was Christian, he believed in God? |
